Fabian's Childhood Cancer Trust was privileged in June to be able to supply art and craft materials for Shooting Star Children’s Hospice, Hampton's, Memory Day.
Parents and family members made salt jars in memory of their precious children with supplies funded by Fabian’s Childhood Cancer Trust.
Fabian's mum Lydia Bate (pictured bottom right) was there to remember Fabian.
Memory Day consists of families who have lost a child over the last three years to gather together for a service of remembrance where some 30 children’s names are read out.
Special songs and poems were read and professional musicians and singers lead. Afterwards, the families visited the tranquil suite where their beloved child may have been laid to rest.
They shared a beautiful lunch, let balloons off in the garden and made crafts together.
